Description: My client has been building solar power plants in Europe for the last decade. As the Italian solar market continues to grow, they are looking to build a series of new power plants, ranging in size from 1-4MW, across the south of Italy. They are very keen to ensure that the projects are completed quickly and efficiently, and are therefore looking for an experienced project developer, who will be reporting directly to the CEO, to lead the construction of the projects. Key Responsibilities: Drawing up project design plans Estimating the timing and costs required to complete the projects and ensuring that in reality the project falls in line with these expectations Selecting and coordinating the engineers that will be required to work through the construction process Providing the CEO with weekly reports on the status of the construction Once the projects are completed, the successful candidate will be expected to re-visit the sites and ensure the plants are running efficiently Requirements Candidate Requirements: 5-7 years of experience of the construction of solar power plants A mechanical or electrical engineering degree Experience of negotiating with suppliers and dealing with local governments Company
