Description:
My client is finances, develops, manages and sells solar and wind energy projects to clients in 10 different countries. An excellent opportunity has arisen to become the new Technical Director of the Italian office’s solar division. The successful candidate will manage all the technical operations of the company’s solar division, be able to select their team, and will enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of the engineering operations
Authorising and establishing technical procedures
Solving legal, technical and administrative issues
Interviewing and selecting new engineers to work on the projects
Occasional travel to project sites to monitor their development
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years into a career in renewable energy
A minimum of 3 years of experience of working with photovoltaic technology
Since a large part of the role will involve managing engineers, the successful candidate must engineering experience within the solar industry
A degree in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical engineering
Fluent Italian and English speaker
