Run with the Wind 2012

The inaugural event had more than 450 competitors, including Canberra Olympic marathon runner Martin Dent, who won the men’s eight-kilometre race in 26 minutes and 11 seconds.

”It’s a beautiful course. It’s great being so close to the turbines. It’s a really tough, hilly course, one of the hilliest races I’ve done for a long time,” said Mr Martin Dent. Check out the photoshere.

“Run with the Wind is a great opportunity for the whole community to run and participate in an event where they can get up close to the turbines and experience what it is like to be amongst a wind farm,” said Infigen senior development manager and race co-ordinator Frank Boland.
