This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business\. **National Grid is Hiring a Growth Portfolio Lead, New Energy Products in Brooklyn, NY location\.** **Job Purpose** In this role, you will engage with senior leaders, end\-to\-end product lifecycle management teams, Regulatory Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and others to accelerate the growth of National Grid’s non\-traditional products, services, and business models\. **Key Accountabilities** + Lead monthly Growth Review Meeting chaired by Chief Customer Officer and SVP Business & Regulatory Strategy\. The meeting is the central forum for our Product Growth organization to track performance, drive accountability, and accelerate success/solve problems\. + Partner with Product Managers responsible for three verticals \(Customer Energy Management, Distributed Energy Resources, and Transportation\) to understand their current products and products in development + Support product managers in establishing product development operations across all three verticals that test new product ideas with agility by utilizing consistent stage gates, decision\-making rubrics, and progress tracking + Represent Product Growth organization where needed in meetings with Business Unit leaders or in other leadership forums; build enough subject matter expertise on entire portfolio of non\-traditional products / services / business models to speak to everything at a high level + Partner with Commercial Analysis team to influence product managers with portfolio\-level recommendations around product prioritization and performance management + Run weekly meetings with Product Growth and functional leaders to discuss portfolio performance and eliminate roadblocks for product managers + Prepare slides / materials for regular and ad\-hoc meetings that summarize the Growth Portfolio for various internal audiences \(both familiar and unfamiliar with the work we do\) **Supervisory/Interpersonal\- Experience Required** + Ability to communicate vision and engage customers and stakeholders in strategic planning activities\. + Strong negotiation and leadership skills and the ability to make independent decisions\. + Excellent written and verbal communications skills including proposals and presentations\. **Qualifications** **Knowledge & Experience Requirements:** + Experience with utility products and business models + Background in process/performance management **Capability Requirements:** + Strong stakeholder engagement / coaching capabilities + Excellent presentation skills + Great visual management capabilities \(ability to create slides, etc\. that tell a story\) + Passion for / high\-level expertise in electric vehicles, solar, energy storage, energy efficiency + Ability to balance many projects at once, hit aggressive deadlines + Flexibility / comfort with ambiguity and high\-change environment **More Information** National Grid is an equal opportunity employer that values a broad diversity of talent, knowledge, experience and expertise\.
