ID 62547 Job Type Full-time Apply Tesla participates in the E-Verify Program BUILD THE FUTURE Tesla has an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is located at our Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada. Responsibilities: · Own the Completion Management System (CMS) · Receive and validate required datasets for import into the CMS database · Manage the addition/deletion/modification of CMS data from Design Change Notices (DCNs) and other project design packages · Develop/refine commissioning checklists · Allocate checklists to systems and equipment tags · Provide user training for the CMS · Identify system boundaries on P&IDs, electrical single lines, and other drawings for major capital projects with the Commissioning Team · Maintain system delineation drawings and system list as directed by Commissioning Manager · Manage the CMS punch list module during project execution · Produce / distribute systems completion status reports to project team and other parties Requirements · High proficiency with Excel, VBA, MySQL databases, HTML and Power BI · Proficient with Completion Management Systems (CxAlloy, Pims, WinPCS, Mancon, or equivalent) · Minimum of 3 years systems completion experience in oil and gas or large capital projects · Great organizational skills · Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision · Working knowledge of planning systems (MS Project, P6 Primavera) · Commitment to safety · Flexible and able to adapt to current and new company requirements · Ability to interact and coordinate with other departments Apply Tesla participates in the E-Verify Program About Tesla Tesla is accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
