Oceans of Energy

At Oceans of Energy (OOE) we believe that land space is too limiting for renewable energy. We believe the future lies at sea, that the world’s oceans offer abundant potential for clean energy. We started a new and revolutionary project in the world of clean energy: Offshore floating solar.

OOE is designing and building the first offshore floating solar farm in the world. Our goal is to bring affordable, clean and abundant energy to the world and contribute to a better environment. Solar at sea is a unique source of renewable energy, as it does not compete for scarce land space and harnesses the energy of our most abundant energy source. Thereby we relieve coastal regions from the spatial challenges that prohibit clean energy projects. Our project has been picked up by 200+ international media sources, showing the worldwide interest for solar at sea.
