**A-Shift Slitter Operator - Immediate Hiring!!!**



**$20/hr**



**Description:**



A-Shift: 6am-6:15pm, Sun-Tues (Work every other Wednesday)



The Slitter Operator will be reading a bill of materials, performing machine set-ups, threading film into the machine, setting blades to the proper width, programming the machine for length, speed, and tension. They will then take product off the machine, stack in containers and send it to shipping.



-Setting up the leader table for proper tapes, leaders, and trailers, retrieve the proper cores from inventory.



-Basic troubleshooting of the machine (adjusting speed, winding tension, and brake tension, recovering film breaks by stopping the machine, cutting broken film, and re-threading machines), and completing quality checks with calipers.



Candidates must have the following:



-Mechanical aptitude AND/OR experience in Machine Operation or Manufacturing



-Able to lift up to 35lbs.



-Perform machine set-up, changeovers and troubleshoot

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**



Prior slitting, roll-to-roll, conversion, paper cutting/labeling/film experience is a HUGE PLUS - A+/Operator II candidate!



These are converting lines that complete paper cutting. If we identified a candidate who has that type of experience with paper cutting, labeling, and film, that would be a plus! The thinner the film the better.
