Job Description


Insight FS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin with branches all over the state. Insight FS has about 410 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 41,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. Insight FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.



Assists the Credit Manager in directing and coordinating activities of employees engaged in marketing Agri-Finance and credit programs.





Creates a marketing plan to support Agri-Finance products


Responsible for all documents required for proper approval from FS Agri-Finance


Works with FS Agri-Finance on the collection of all Agri-Finance accounts


Investigates and verifies the financial status and credit worthiness of potential customers, documents findings and recommends further action on applications


Maintains territory analysis files on all prospects


Responsible for investigation of fraud cases and manages necessary legal action


Responsible for collection of NSF checks and delinquent accounts, submits to attorney or outside collection agency


Evaluates current collection policies and procedures using collection reports





Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.


Performs all other duties as assigned.





Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field, or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of finance related work experience.


Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK System credit administration.


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.


Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.


May be required to work extended hours.


Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight.


Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
