They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on the bank’s operations. An additional focus of the summer intern will be to complete a capstone project that will seek to add value to the team they are supporting.









Job Description






At CoBank Farm Credit Leasing, the Asset Management & Remarketing Intern assists in the documentation and execution of end-of-lease and end-of-use asset appraisal. This intern will also help with marketing, technological, and operational procedures and partake in off lease re-marketing activities. A capstone summer project will focus on industry research and the creation of marketing materials to support Farm Credit Leasing’s pilot program to offer asset marketing services to key cooperative customers and large association partners.  


This is a paid position for undergraduate and graduate students and is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 


Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate in Fianance or Business Management or a related discipline and in good academic standing. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural equipment and the secondary market.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to model in Excel.
  • Aptitude for learning other software applications.
  • Ability to perform research across multiple systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Agribusiness knowledge and experience.

Compensation Information:

  • Undergraduate student - $21.00
  • Masters student - $25.00
  • Housing stipend may be available for interns who do not have local housing arrangements available
