Position: Ag and Light Construction Equipment Sales Representative

Location: Waco, TX

Role Overview: As an Ag and Construction Equipment Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in generating new leads and expanding our customer base. Your friendly demeanor, personal motivation, and determination to achieve goals will contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present and promote WC Tractor's products to existing and potential clients.


• Identify and develop client relationships through new leads and referrals.


• Exceed sales quotas and consistently meet ambitious sales targets.


• Address customer concerns in a positive and efficient manner.


• Manage all aspects of the sales process, including paperwork and contracts.


• Collaborate with WCT staff to ensure seamless completion of sales.


• Develop a deep understanding of our current and new inventory.


• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of previous Ag or Construction equipment sales experience.


• Familiarity with Hay baling equipment.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Strong time management and organizational skills, a plus.


• Basic computer skills preferred.


• Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, speaking).


• Valid Motor Vehicle Record required at time of job offer (current within 15 days).

Job Type: Full-time

Required Education:

• Associate degree preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of Outside Sales experience.


• Minimum 3 years of Equipment Sales or Rental experience.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in outside sales.


• Experience with agricultural equipment.


• Proactive and persistent approach to product promotion.


• Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability to changing customer needs.


• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.


• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.


• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about new equipment.


• Ability to travel and manage a multi-state territory.


• Proficiency in computer technology.

Note: Degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory. We are looking for candidates with a strong sales background and a demonstrated understanding of agricultural equipment.
