Job Description

The Business Analyst and Developer I is responsible for interacting with the various MCPc Business Units and designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining applications to streamline the business. These may be new applications that the Business Analyst and Developer will write or just the design and hand off to a developer. The developer tools will be dependent on the solution requirements and following standard development guidelines.

  • Interact with business units to analyze business processes and propose new automated processes.
  •  Document business processes using standard tools such as Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  •  Create programming specifications.
  • Develop solutions based on design specifications.
  • Promotes MCPc to “modern” business systems standards, including cloud-first and automated process engagement.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills with structured SQL and .Net, C++ or similar programming languages.
  •  Ability to learn new development skills based on business requirements.
  • Good social skills to work with business unit personnel in developing new solution.
  •  Structured SQL experience
  •  Basic/Intermediate programming skills.
  •  Database relationship skills – Joining data tables, transforming data.
  •  College degree in computer science preferred, or relative experience.
