**GENERAL SUMMARY**



Primarily accountable for Cash Management and Investment Management functions in Treasury Department by providing analytical support, strategic planning and carrying out approved plans. Will administratively support Bond Issuance process annually and payment of interest and principal due for previously issued bonds. Promote ethically sound business decisions in the areas of planning and financial analysis. Position requires a moderate level of independence, ability to electronically navigate multiple systems/databases and attention to detail and accuracy.



**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**



Cash Management includes initiating, approving and monitoring cash activities to ensure cash movement is appropriately coded to the general ledger. Additional responsibilities include initiating/approving internal account transfers, ACH file uploads to the bank, and facilitating wire payments to vendors. Overall, ensuring cash is available and in the correct account when needed to support operational needs.



Support banking operations by assisting Treasury Management and helping operations staff resolve daily problems. Develop and/or redesign processes, databases, and reports for others to maintain and use to make workflow more efficient and communicating information directly with banks. Coordinate and/or perform activities needed to research, develop, and implement electronic communication interfaces with banks, trustees, brokers.



Investment Management includes investing in approved securities based on investment policy. In doing so, evaluation of rate of return, timing maturity date to meet cash needs in the company and compiling documentation to support the activity of each investment. Participate in investment strategy planning, execution, and navigating multiple software programs is important. Accountable for validating investment activity.



Participate in audits by providing required documents, files, and explanations for processes to comply with auditor requests. Carryout all work in a way that creates supporting documentation for easy recall audits.



Support debt management and analysis for semi-annual debt payment requirements. Prepare and/or input all current debt service transactions for approval by the Treasury Management. Maintain outstanding debt service databases and reporting systems and provide, as needed, debt service information. Provide support and analysis for development and oversee a system to manage and track unclaimed bond debt service funds held by the system. Support settlement of transactions by utilizing banking software and working directly with trustees.



Assist the System Administrator with software used for Treasury systems and processes. Assist in upgrading of systems when required; trouble-shooting problems, designing and implementing reports; and maintaining interfaces with other systems. Provide analysis and system summaries for inclusion in the annual Audited Financial Statements, Monthly Treasury Services Report, and other publications.



Assist Treasury Management in the reconciliation analysis of the Corporate Credit Card Program and various financial audits.



Assist Treasury Management as needed in development of Business Planning projects and Energy Services & Development Projects.



Must participate on the Emergency Response Team (ERO) when designated.



Must support the biennial refueling outage when designated.



**REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**



Level II: Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field, and 3 years of industrial level experience working with treasury/financial/accounting/budgeting/risk.



OR AA degree and 5 years of industrial level experience working with treasury/financial/accounting/budgeting/risk.



OR in lieu of degree, a High school diploma or GED and 7 years of industrial level experience working with treasury/financial/accounting/budgeting/risk.



Level I: Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.



OR AA degree and 2 years of industrial level experience working with treasury/financial/accounting/budgeting/risk.



OR in lieu of degree, a High school diploma or GED and 4 years of industrial level experience working with treasury/financial/accounting/budgeting/risk.



This is an entry-level position.



**Pay Range:**



Level II Salary: $71,230 - $106,846



$89,038 midpoint



Level I Salary $61,874 - $92,810



$77,342 midpoint



Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.



Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
