A Day in The Life of Our Business Development Representative:



  • Organize and execute specialized projects such as call-out campaigns, data updates, and drive
    customer engagement.

  • Qualify new accounts, establish and extract value for Altium

  • Uncover new customers through the application of Altium products to meet customer requirements.

  • Uncover, review and qualify sales leads that are created and received from multiple sources.

  • Collaborate with sales and technical team members to meet and exceed team objectives.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities in Altium’s Salesforce Customer

  • Relationship Management (CRM) database.

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of Altium products and technologies, competitive products and industry trends.

  • Develop new lead opportunities by collecting information that includes business pains/needs, timelines, authority and project teams, budget, competitive information, etc.


Who We’re Looking For:


Bachelor’s degree (computer/electrical engineering or related technical field preferred).


Minimum of 2+ years inside sales experience in Software Sales strongly preferred.


Minimum 2+ years of Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred.


Knowledge of PCB or embedded software is highly preferred.


Outstanding organization and time management skills are a must.


Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Effective and articulate communications in a clear and concise manner checking to ensure that messages have been understood. Gains influence by the effective use of information, targeting their communication to meet the information needs of their audiences.


Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.


Be a self-motivated, thorough, passionate, articulate, team player with a positive attitude.


The salary range for this role is {$70,000-$80,000}. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
