They work both alone and as part of a team which includes a variety of engineering disciplines, architects, and scientists, to determine the root cause of a variety of incidents. They should be curious and have the natural ability of deduction and enjoy solving problems. Preferred experience includes consulting, design, construction, and knowledge of building codes.In this position you will apply your technical knowledge and previous work experiences to help assess and determine the origin and causes of failures for a large variety of complex and unique problems for our clients. Some of these problems will include design, construction, safety, OSHA compliance, wind damage, property condition assessments, foundations, hydrology, and flooding assessments. Additionally, you may be asked to make structural assessments from a variety of causes such as: fire, wind, impact, construction standard of care, estimation, vibration claims. You will perform timely accurate analysis, prepare reports, and present your findings to clients and other interested parties.**Qualifications and Skills**- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Discipline.- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or Structural Engineering (S.E.)
