Looking for 4 Machinists to produce Aerospace + Wind/energy devices
Machinist B/ VTL – 2 on 2nd shift
Machinist A (All-around) – 1 on 2nd and 1 on 3rd.
+ Company is manufacturing turbine blades steam blades, vanes and airfoils. Size can range anywhere from 2” to 2’ in length and machining to finished dimensions with tolerances <.0005”.
+ Loading material onto the machine
+ Operate/run conventional and special purpose machines and machining centers.
+ Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers, using commercially available tooling and products whenever possible.
+ Calculates and set machining peed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut.
+ Enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine readouts.
+ Unloading material, spot check and light inspection
+ Running 4-5 axis CNC machines, vertical and horizontal milling machines, one brand new horizontal machining center but the others are a mix of old and new, some from the 1940's that have been retro fitted with CNC controls. Work off fanuc and Okuma controls.
+ 3+ years experience CNC Machining, full set up, changing in/out tooling, offsets, light editing of programs
+ Metal cutting, no plastics or unrelated industries
+ Aerospace preferred, but nor required
