Job Description:

Louisiana 4-H Youth Development is seeking a self-motivated, organized, creative, and dependable professional to serve as a Curriculum Specialist on a multi-year grant-funded project. The Specialist will be lead curriculum development of an AgriSTEM course that prepares youth to take the FAA Part 107 exam and teaches about emerging technologies in agriculture. The Specialist will also serve as the lead trainer for teachers that adopt the curriculum. This is a grant funded position that is expected to last four years.

Job Duties:

  • Develops AgriSTEM curriculum, including lessons, activities, assessments, and teacher training materials.
  • Develops and conduct teacher training workshop for AgriSTEM course.
  • Provides updates to curriculum based upon teacher and Advisory board feedback.
  • Coordinates with Project Director and Co-Directors to refine materials related to AgriSTEM course.
  • Holds regular meetings with the Project Director and Co-Directors.
