The Opportunity
You will be joining a team of trailblazers in one of the fastest-growing industries. As a full-time Customer Care and Education Lead, you will manage our customer experience; including end-to-end project management, maintaining a positive experience for our customers, and identifying and implementing improvements to our customer experience. You will be expected to travel (while taking Covid-19 precautions) less than 10% of the time.
Primary Responsibilities
Direct daily operations of the Customer Care team.
Welcome customers at the beginning of a project and identify customer needs, especially for Navajo and Hopi speaking customers.
Maintain communication with the customers via text, phone calls, and emails throughout and after project completion.
Educate customers on solar energy and caring for solar units. Training on both these topics and more will be available.
Assist in scheduling visits and be a communication intermediary between customers and the NRI team.
Understand customer’s needs and provide them with personalized care related to their project.
Maintain relevant and accurate customer information within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Resolve issues that may arise during the project.
Support customer education initiatives and work with the Communications team on relevant initiatives.
Provide overall administrative support.
Able to answer the rare customer calls/texts on weekends
Required Skills
2+ years of previous customer service experience
Good communication skills, able to speak and write clearly and professionally
Teamwork mentality with a passion for our company and customers
Enthusiastic, strong work ethic, and high energy
Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
Good time-management, organized, and detailed oriented
Ability to multitask
Reliable cell phone reception and internet (if working remotely)
Preferred, but not required:
3+ years of project/team management experience
Experience working in or with tribal communities
Knowledge of solar energy and renewable energy
Experience with a Customer Relationship Management platform
Associate’s/Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
