We are excited to announce we are hiring for a Digital Marketing Manager.
The Digital Marketing Manager is a highly strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual with an in-depth understanding of digital and traditional marketing between brick and mortar, and eCommerce verticals. Key responsibilities include development assistance for overall marketing strategy, overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns, and support of cross-departmental communication, with special focus on content development and implementation for social media, paid media, blog, email campaigns, and customer loyalty. The Digital Marketing Manager works closely with Store Operations, IT, Merchandising, and Marketing Departments to achieve high-growth organizational goals.
A successful Digital Marketing Manager will be strategic, tactical, open-minded, and creative. This position requires a collaborative leader committed to supporting and empowering a high-performing team. The individual will have experience leading marketing campaigns across the digital landscape for brick and mortar and eCommerce channels resulting in strong impressions, widespread brand awareness, and increased conversions. This person will understand data-centric approaches to digital marketing and analysis strategies and can oversee a diverse range of marketing initiatives. The Digital Marketing Manager is an effective communicator, is obsessed with details, and possesses a strong aptitude to continually learn marketing strategies, best practices, and new trends.
Key priorities: Promote Our Brand Through Strategic Content and Digital Marketing Growth
Duties include:
- Develop digital marketing strategies that support the Marketing Department's goal to maximize guest loyalty, ROI, conversions, and strengthen brand awareness
- Create content marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels for email, social media, blog, paid search and eCommerce to ensure message accuracy and consistency
- Establish the vision and goals of content for email, collateral, social media, and blog content
- Develop streamlined interdepartmental communication between Marketing, IT, Merchandising, and Operations; focus on project collaboration and new initiatives
- Oversee and implement advertising strategies, placement, and paid media content
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness; analyze performance and create reports and summaries that could impact future campaigns/seasons
- Strategize and analyze digital strategy: digital ad campaigns, social campaigns, and Google Analytics
- Supervise direct response campaigns: e-marketing, email, paid media
- Assist in developing budgets that align with cross-departmental strategy
- Strategize guest engagement, audience segmentation, and digital development plans
- Train and develop staff: provide management support and job-specific advice and training
- Assist in oversight of digital collateral development for multi-channel sales in retail, wholesale, and corporate gifting
- Source marketing research: identify departmental and organizational research needs
- Provide written and oral updates to the executives and committees
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in marketing, preferably in the retail and/or consumer goods fields
- 3+ years managing a team
- Experience with digital platforms and applications; Google Analytics, Klaviyo and Shopify Plus are strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of digital and social media marketing, email marketing, and paid media
- Strong combination of project management, analytical, and creative skills
- Strong knowledge of project management process and familiarity with a workflow or project management system
- Experience managing online strategy: social media development, CMS experience, digital advertising, loyalty programs
- Intermediate knowledge of print production, digital, web, and email marketing workflow
- Strong experience with content development and production for multimedia in print, ecommerce, direct response (email and mail), social, blog
- Strong copywriting and copyediting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills
