Job Description
Chariot Energy is looking for a seasoned data-driven digital sales guru who knows how to couple eCommerce technology with results.  This role will focus heavily on driving sales in Chariot Energy’s digital sales channel, focusing on enrolling home and business owners on Chariot Energy’s retail electricity plans. The person who assumes this position will hold accountability digital lead generation and sales conversions, customer acquisition, upsell opportunities, promotion creation and digital end-to-end sales experiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, facilitation, and execution of multiple marketing campaigns, sometimes delivered simultaneously, toward the goal of rapidly scaling Chariot Energy.   This candidate will hold accountability for ROI, ROAS and overall digital sales channel performance.


    • Develop sales plans to increase conversion rates and market share
    • Manage third party agency vendors and freelancers to support content development
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
    • Explore new approaches to optimize performance of the website
    • Develop and own sales volume, revenue budgets and KPIs associated with the channel
    • Work closely with marketing team on the execution of new campaigns
    • Develop relationships with and manage third party vendors
    • Expert knowledge of PPC, digital affiliate marketing, Google Analytics, remarketing and SEO
    • Ability to sell internally on new ad spends, new campaigns and new technologies investments 


    • Previous experience leading and holding accountability for a digital sales channel in the retail electricity industry or other verticals tasked with selling subscription-based consumer home services.
    • The ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves to deliver work with a solid understanding of all components and complexities related to mass market digital sales
    • A sound understanding of paid digital channels, including SEM, social, display, click to call and re-targeting.
    • A robust understanding of marketing technology, and how it works, including API integrations, CSS/HTML, CMS and CRM. 
    • Excellent communication skills with a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
    • Demonstrated success managing sales across virtual teams and stakeholders
    • Good business acumen and strategic thinking
    • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills
    • Ability to review and negotiate sales and vendor contracts
    • A top notch project manager with impeccable organizational skills
    • A critical thinker with attention to detail and bias for action

$100,000 - $150,000 a year
