Your Responsibilities
As a Electrical Engineer for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, you will...
- Own & maintain the electrical system design for all current production Crawler Dozers.
- Lead projects to improve cost, reliability, and quality of harnesses and electrical components.
- Assist the assembly line and customer support team by troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Perform warranty and root cause analysis.

What Skills You Need
- Experience with electrical systems and component design.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and a multimeter.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with 3D modeling tools (such as: Pro/E, Solidworks, AutoCAD)
- Experience working in a team environment
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with 3D Modeling tools for electrical harnesses like ProE-ProCable or MentorGraphics-Capitol Harness.
- Knowledge and/or experience of electrical systems and components on mobile equipment/vehicles.
- Knowledge and/or experience with power electronics and E-drive systems.
- Knowledge and/or experience with control systems.
- Experience working with electrical suppliers.
- Knowledge and/or experience with grade control, autonomy, and/or vision systems
- Knowledge and/or experience with power electronics and E-drive systems.

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering degree.
