The primary responsibility of the Facilities Support and Delivery member is to support company productivity through deliveries and logistical assistance. 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities 

• Load, secure, and deliver materials safely 

• Fuel trucks and machinery 

• Operate skid steer safely and efficiently 

• Coordinate with off-site vendors for material pick up 

• Secure facilities at end of day 

• Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, inspect buildings, nursery, trucks, tools, and equipment to determine functionality and to detect any necessary repairs 

• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and general maintenance on all buildings, trucks, tools, and equipment 

• Clean grounds, buildings, trucks, tools, and equipment 

• Perform general labor and housekeeping duties 

• Complete Preventative Maintenance projects as assigned 

• Other duties and responsibilities as required 

Working Conditions

Outdoor position – Ability to adjust to climate changes; may be exposed to heat, cold, rain, snow, & noise. 

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm, with optional weekend and overtime shifts.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Minimum of one year of field experience 

• Working knowledge of lawn/landscaping equipment and powered hand tools 

• Strong interpersonal skills 

• Ability to prioritize workload; ability to multi-task  

• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills 

• Highly detailed oriented 

• Consistent communication with supervisor 

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions 

• Flexibility with work schedule and job duties 

• Adhere to all company & OSHA requirements 

Physical Requirements

• Bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, walk, reach, carry, climb & lift for prolonged periods of time 

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds 

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces 

• Ability to work on all company equipment 

• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment 

• Ability to work around and with moving machinery/equipment  

• Stand, sit, walk/move for duration of work shift 

Compensation

• Full-time hourly position, $17.00 - 20.00/ hour based on experience
