Job Description


Supervise, plan, purchase materials, assist in budgeting process, and responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day cultural operations of citrus orchards of respective acres. Work with other departments and outside contractors to optimize efficiency of farming operations.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate activities pertaining to the production of citrus in assigned geographic areas.
  • Supervise day to day operations including fertility, pest control, weed control, irrigation, pruning, frost protection, and other related ranch projects.
  • Give direction, display leadership, provide training and guidance, and promote teamwork within the labor force and other departments within Wonderful Citrus for a productive and harmonious work atmosphere. 
  • Schedule, coordinate, supervise and monitor all irrigation functions by implementing irrigation schedules, maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure accurate time tracking on electronic system to monitor attendance and hours worked for direct employees as well as contractors.  Keep track of employee’s productivity and efficiency to identify areas of time management improvements might need.
  • Maintain accurate records related to chemical applications and other related farm activities.
  • Communicate with farm management, suppliers and contractors.  Report any issues or developments properly.


 Here's what you'll bring to the table:

  • Minimal computer skills required.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pest applicator license is preferred.
  • Previous experience in farm management or a related role preferred.
  • Knowledge of agricultural practices, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and communications skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor as required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
