The Fleet Analyst is responsible for managing various activities involved in Fleet Operations.

Key responsibilities include:
● Manage the fuel program which includes providing direction of fuel contractors, analyzing and approve transactions and invoices, provide authorization and payments as appropriate.
● Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities, authorize vendor work requests and payments.
● Manage telematics program including reports, dashboards, data analysis, and training.
● Provide direction on License & Title activities.
● Provide direction on regulatory compliance and permitting including DOT requirements.
● Validate vendor data files and ensure their accurate download into Fleet management system.
● Analyze lease options versus purchase options to aide in Fleet acquisition and develop recommendations.
● Prepare analysis reports of vehicle activities such as fuel usage, repair and operational cost.
● Monitor Fleet trends for management reporting such as cost of ownership, projected costs, detail of labor, fuel, and other costs.
● Review systems/processes with management to identify areas of improvement and impact to the operation and provide recommendations.
● Research and prepare responses to data requests.

Qualifications
Associate’s Degree required, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g., Automotive Technology). Significant directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Degree. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Three or more years of relevant utility fleet operational experience or other directly relevant experience required with Associate’s Degree; five or more years of experience required without Degree. Microsoft Applications experience required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Ability to analyze and evaluate complex transactions. Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced, dynamic environment, and work effectively with customers. Excellent computer skills.
