- Complete weeding, watering, pruning, perennial care, & IPM implementation to ensure landscapes are healthy and aesthetically pleasing.

- Feed plant material with appropriate products according to needs.

- Complete developmental pruning for trees and shrubs utilizing appropriate equipment.

- Complete maintenance activities for trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, turf, and other landscape features.

- Installs shrubs, perennials, annuals, or bulbs following provided layout.

- Remove invasive and unwanted plants through the planned use of herbicide applications and other recognized means.

- Communicate job needs and progress to supervisor daily.

- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are safely secured for transport, storage and on job sites, as well as cleaned.

- Clear worksites of excess trash and debris before departing.

- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Preference will be given to individuals with at least six months of professional gardening experience and/or a degree in horticulture. The right person, however, can be trained if they are willing to work hard and learn.

- Driver’s License strongly preferred.
