**The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Geriatrician Physician to join the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in New York.**



Joining the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine will allow the physician to service a large and diverse patient population in Manhattan, New York. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality health care to older adults, persons with serious illness, and the caregivers while advancing the fields of Geriatrics and Palliative Care.



Ideal candidates will give excellent care to a diverse community of patients that need treatment for a broad spectrum of Geriatric conditions and diseases. The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for Geriatric and Palliative medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System.

**Position Description:**

• Provide Clinical and administrative services for in-patients within the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine

• Will work as attending physician for the Geriatrics Outpatient Practice at Mount Sinai Morningside (MSM)- both primary care and consultation.

• Will provide out-patient medical consultation or co-management upon request from medical specialists or non-medical disciplines

• Provide teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, students and other trainees caring for patients under the auspices of the department

• Serve a diverse population

• EMR system: Epic

• Clinical, Teaching and Administrative effort required

• Competitive salary and benefits offered including productivity bonuses, generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage

• Compensation range from 218K to 248K (not including bonuses / Incentive compensation or benefits)



**Position Qualifications:**

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University

• New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Geriatrics and strong preference for additional qualifications in Palliative Medicine

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
