Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and launch improvements to the core Job Search product. This team is responsible for creating a world class developer experience that allows product teams to develop, test and launch A/B tests quickly and safely. Through rapid experimentation our product teams learn how to deliver the best experiences to help people get jobs. Our work integrates with many teams across Indeed and requires highly technical, innovative, flexible thinkers with excellent communication and passion for delivering the best experience to help people get jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate with an Agile team of 4-6 software engineers
- Prioritize development with our partners in Product
- Build good working relationship with the teams that build on our Platform
- Craft new architectural designs with your team members
- Develop high quality, maintainable code
- Give helpful, constructive feedback through code reviews
- Experience as a Software Engineer working on challenging problems, with a consistent track record of on-time delivery for large, cross-functional projects
- Experience with full-stack application development using Java and Javascript; experience in React a plus
- Experience building highly scalable, highly resilient, globally distributed, microservices-based web applications
- Experience helping fellow engineers through code reviews and writing documentation
- Experience designing and building modular platforms for other teams to contribute
- An understanding of the value derived from shipping code rapidly to production and learning/iterating on the results
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
