We're glad you want to grow your engineering career with AES. We operate several power plants and renewable energy plants across the US, including Hawaii. The Engineering team is an integral part of AES. Typical Engineering roles range from design, planning, project engineering to commissioning and much more. Engineers support gas and coal power plant operations in Indiana, Ohio and California as well as roles within renewable energy in solar, wind, hydro and battery storage. Many roles are hybrid or work-from-home with some travel expected. Qualified applicants must resided within the United States.
Typical Positions inlcude (all levels): Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Solar, Wind, BESS, Hydro Engineering as well as Transmission Planning, Interconnection, Performance, NERC Compliance, amongst others.
