A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN MANAGER


As a Kitchen Manager, you guide your team and help them deliver exceptional national and international cuisine while maintaining a fun and festive environment. Multi-tasking is one of your strongest qualities, and it shows as you balance employee management and correct food practices.


Some of your responsibilities include hiring, training, and scheduling your culinary team, as well as building excellent relationships with outside vendors. You also maintain inventory by tracking and ordering fresh, high-quality ingredients and supplies. You love leading a cohesive team and working for a company that celebrates having an exciting culture and provides top-notch service.




QUALIFICATIONS FOR A KITCHEN MANAGER



  • 1 year of kitchen experience

  • Knowledge about FDA and USDA regulations regarding food practices and handling

  • Knowledge about budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling

  • Strong financial acumen and profit and loss accountability experience

  • Over the age of 21
