What would the Landscaping Crew Lead do?
The Landscaping Crew Lead is responsible for blowing and removing any grass clippings from paved/ hardscape areas. Has direct oversight of crews of up to four (4) employees.
What would my Essential Supervisory duties be?
- Supervises and leads employees
- Ensures employees adhere to company policy and breaks as directed by Project Manager
- Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and staffing
- Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility and company
- Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices
- Trains, supervises and evaluates assigned landscaping staff
- Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance
- Perform daily inspection of the crew’s equipment to notice any potential equipment malfunction
- Ensure that the crew is servicing areas in a safe and productive manner while avoiding damage to other people’s property
- Ensure that crew is using all safeguards and safety items are being used and operated by the user.
- Ensure that the crew is wearing all safety gear as required by CW Resources.
- Notify Project manager of any areas that are unsafe to weed whack or cannot be serviced for the day
- Perform final inspection of all areas assigned to lead crew
- Perform any other duties as assigned
What would my Role and Responsibilities be?
- Perform routine maintenance at the end of each day
- Weed whack any areas that a mower cannot mow, as well as, hard to reach service areas
- Attendance at work is an essential function of this position
- Ensure that all areas assigned for the day are completed up to contract standards
- Must be able to stay after hours or work on weekends if needed
- Perform re-servicing of failed areas
- Grass trimming, shrub trimming, bed maintenance and basic landscape duties
- Perform final inspection of all areas assigned to you and your crew
- Ability to complete daily paperwork for all assigned areas
- Perform any other duties as assigned

What would the Environmental Demands be?
The incumbent will be exposed to outdoor elements and may have to work in extreme heat. The incumbent may be exposed to loud noises for extended periods.
