Location Manager Agronomy, Propane, Petroleum Facility

AGRILAND FS, a financially strong farmer-owned cooperative, is looking for a leader in operations, business, and agriculture to fill the role of location manager. As a member of our AGRILAND FS team, this individual will develop and manage a team to drive the business goals of a growing agronomy and energy retail location, while embracing the opportunity for career growth through company-provided continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operational functions and team at assigned location


• Lead location in achieving operational goals by improving efficiency, developing people, and offering premier customer service


• Utilize financial and operational goals to make business decisions


• Recruit and develop team members to improve operations and reduce turnover


• Supervise both full-time and part-time operations personnel and lead team meetings


• Schedule maintenance of location and equipment


• Maintain inventory and facilitate product distribution


• Assist in determining location asset needs and developing location budget


• Collaborate with Operations Manager and other locations on all safety and compliance issues and to improve business efficiencies

What we need from you:

• Associates or bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field or equivalent experience




• Understanding of basic business principles of inventory and contribution to overhead


• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop others


• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail


• Strong mechanical aptitude with good math and problem-solving skills


• Ability to understand and operate all equipment at location


• Exceptional customer service and business development skills, plus outstanding communication, persuasion, and teamwork skills
