Title: Manager, Analytics & Digital Tool Development
Location: Dayton, OH (30% of telework permitted from anywhere in the US)
Employer: AES Clean Energy Services, LLC
Lead data scientists team to assess the company's fleet performance and develop optimization methodologies. Lead optimization projects for Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage System. Develop advanced analytical tools for optimal operations of Wind, Solar & Energy Storage assets. Improvise Project Development Methodology via Six Sigma Tools for optimization projects. Utilize Robotics and Drone technology for performance improvement and maintenance of the company's Renewable Energy assets. Perform Benchmarking and Gap Analysis for existing technologies in the industry. Bring in AI/ML technology to the company's Digital Platform. Develop advanced dashboard to track asset health and warranty parameters for optimal performance. Identify and implement reliability and performance improvement technologies for Solar, Wind, and battery energy storage system.
15% of travel required to renewable energy sites.
Job requires Master of Science Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation involving renewable Energy Optimization & Development.
The position requires five (5) years of experience in:
-Renewable Engineering Research & Development;
-Statistical Analysis and dashboarding tools such as EtaPRO, Qlik Sense, Power BI, MS Excel; and
-Identification of project operations hurdles and investigation of issues causing low performance.
The position requires three (3) years of experience in:
-Six Sigma Methodology and project development with Six Sigma;
-Researching new renewable energy technologies and developing performance improvement projects;
-Root Cause Analysis in renewable energy projects and recovery planning; and
-KPI analysis.
The position requires two (2) years of experience in:
-Developing prototype models of renewable energy systems like wind, solar and battery energy storage systems;
-Leading multiple projects including conducting Quality Assessment and Quality Checks (QA/QC );
-AI/ML tools (SAS, Domingo etc.); and
-Robotics and other advanced renewable energy related technologies.
