Job Summary:



Responsible for assigned manufacturing areas and successful completion of projects to support manufacturing. Monitor current process KPI’s and work with the team to develop improvement solutions related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Drive projects from inception to completion.



Duties and Responsibilities:





+ Support the Value Stream in assigned areas of responsibility acting as primary contact for the Value Stream Manager and other members of the team as related to engineering



+ Problem solving and implementation of solutions related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity



+ Drive improvement projects to eliminate waste in all processes using Lean and Six Sigma tools



+ Create, document, develop, and implement procedures used to manufacture, assemble, and/or test Agility Fuel Solutions products in assigned work areas.



+ Work as a member of a project team



+ Ensure safe and reliable manufacturing processes



+ To represent Agility in a professional manner, in keeping with its standards of conduct



+ Able to lead and complete projects in assigned work areas.



+ Coordinate with other departments to complete projects in assigned areas.



+ Provide updates on projects and communicate effectively to suppliers and customers of each process



+ Ensure that assigned manufacturing processes are aligned with government regulations and capable of meeting customer requirements



+ Ensure company policies, work rules, and processes are followed on all assigned processes.



+ Other duties as assigned





Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:





+ Processing and forming plastics; extrusion, injection molding, blow molding



+ Filament winding composite material



+ Knowledge in the field of automation and NC controlled equipment



+ Knowledge in the field of mechanical measurement



+ SCADA data gathering and monitoring of production systems



+ Practical experience with ERP systems



+ Practical experience with the ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System



+ Practical experience with AIAG APQP and PPAP processes



+ Practical experience with the principles of lean manufacturing



+ General digital literacy and proficiency with standard office software



+ Practical experience with solid modeling and drafting



+ Awareness of design parameters in terms of criticality of product performance for assigned areas.



+ Ability to connect with vendors and support communications with customers to meet company goals.



+ Strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve root causes.



+ Ability to clearly communicate when coordinating projects with other departments.



+ Willingness to learn new tasks and subjects to improve skills





Credentials and Experience:





+ A Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Civil Engineering and/or commensurate combination of work experience and education is required



+ Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. aerospace, automotive)



+ A minimum of 2 years in engineering practice.





Other Skills/Abilities or Special Requirements:





+ Ability to sit, stand, and walk eight hours per day and carry up to 20 pounds



+ Occasional travel, both domestic and international
