Job Description

The MRC Team Lead is responsible for providing an exceptional in-branch member experience. The MRC Team Lead builds and deepens relationships with members by proactively uncovering financial needs. They are expected to recommend products/services that maximizes and creates a remarkable member experience. This position delivers value by assuring efficient Teller and MRC activities while processing teller line and desk transactions. In addition, the MRC Team Lead will manage branch cash and serve as back-up Supervisor for the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager. Processes a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments. The MRC Team Lead will perform financial and sales related transactions on stationary and mobile devices. Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves member service issues. This is a multi-faceted role and requires exceptional member service skills, product/service knowledge, technological expertise and attention to detail and adherence to operations policies and procedures.



• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).  Associates degree preferred.

• Minimum of two years of leadership experience in financial services or retail that includes a strong record of cash management or cash handling.

• Energizing force in the branch; someone who likes to be lead and sets a high pace of energy, enthusiasm and engagement with other employees and members.

• Hold a valid Michigan Credit Insurance License or obtain such designation within 6 months of hire date.

• Obtain and maintain NMLS registration within 6 months of hire date.

• Take real estate loan applications within 6 months of NMLS registration.

• Expert skills in computer terminal, personal computer and mobile/electronic device operation; mainframe computer system; word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
