This position is responsible for coordinating activities between suppliers, customers, outside and inside sales, marketing and management, buyers and pricing teams.  Inventory management, expediting product, forecasting customer needs, and coordinating product line marketing projects.  
•Coordinates with Vendors, inside and outside sales, Pricing Administrator product line special costs and rebates.
•Investigates, expedites, and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
•Develops and maintains relationships with product line contacts.
•Works to achieve ultimate goals in terms of Supplier Programs.
•Works with inside Customer Service Representatives to facilitate customer requirements including product substitution where applicable.
•Problem solves in conjunction with outside sales to meet customer requirements.
•Demonstrates understanding of gross margins and resolutions of pricing problems.
•Offers minimal Product Support, commercially and technically.  
•Developing a tactical sales strategy that maximizes sales productivity.
•Working with Outside Sales to execute sales strategy
•Preparing presentations and professional proposals that highlight the value of our solutions and services and present to customers and internal personnel
•Engaging technical experts and industry specialists within EMP/ Vendors to provide solutions that address unique customer requirements
•Leveraging customer relationship management tools to manage the entire sales cycle, prioritize activities, and provide accurate forecasting information
•Minimum: Associate’s degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school with two years’ experience in their related field, or
•Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with two years’ experience in their related field.
•Strong business, creative, and technical writing skills 
•Proficiency in MS office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
•Excellent oral and written communication  
•Effective interpersonal, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
•Attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multitask
•Inherent ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong desire to win.
•Strategic selling skills related to high volume equipment builders, engineering firms, packagers and end-users.
•Must be able to manage conflict/challenges and be receptive to change.
•Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer requirements with the commercial objectives of EMP / Vendors.
•Executive level verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
•Organization and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
•Familiarity with specific customers and competitors within the defined territory is a distinct advantage.
•Minimum: Knowledge and experience of any manufacture in one of the following: PLC, HMI, VFD or Servo Drive.
•Preferred: Knowledge and experience in SIEMENS PLC, HMI, VFD or Servo Drive.
•Knowledge of AC Vector and Servo Control is an advantage as this role will primarily promote Motion Control Products.
