AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for a Maintenance Lead to join our team in
Hesston, KS. The
Maintenance Lead coordinates technical repairs and maintenance of Hesston's buildings, equipment, and grounds for assigned area. Coordinates, schedules, and prioritizes the preventative maintenance activities and work orders for assigned area.




What Will You Do:



  • Trouble shoots building systems problems and performs and/or recommends appropriate action to resolve, such as HVAC, lighting circuits, and plumbing.

  • Performs, recommends and coordinates preventative maintenance activities for assigned area.

  • Completes work order backlog and prioritizes work.

  • Obtains quotes from vendors and recommends appropriate action when appropriate.



  • Coordinates work with outside vendors. Provides technical assistance and information to various individuals involved in the office environment.

  • Coordination and monitoring of outside contractors such as: Janitorial, Security, and grounds upkeep personnel.

  • Ensures all contractors comply with all safety policies and work practices, such as LOTO, elevated heights, and confined space requirement

  • Provides technical assistance and information to various individuals involved in the office environment.

  • Communicate effectively with personnel, as the job requires, in a professional manner that facilitates teamwork.

  • Keep abreast of new development pertinent to one's job responsibilities through contacts with professional societies, educational centers, tool and machine manufacturers, technical papers, journals, periodicals and other sources.

  • Organizes spare parts inventory and ordering for assigned area.

  • Responsible for CMMS work order system, including asset management, PM creation, and recordkeeping in assigned area.

  • 5S responsibility for respective areas.




ESSENTIAL SKILLS




Require Qualifications:



  • 2+ years knowledge and experience in professional maintenance structure required.

  • Certificate in electrical trade

  • Certificate in plumbing trade

  • HVAC trained and certificate

  • High School degree or equivalent required.



P
referred Qualifications:



  • 2 year degree preferred.

  • 3-5 Years knowledge and experience in maintenance structure preferred.

  • Ability to work under pressure of time and resource constraints.

  • Problem solving skills such as root cause investigation.
