Offshore Wind Development Manager


 


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offshore Wind Development Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the rapidly expanding offshore wind industry and contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions.


 


Responsibilities:


 


  • Lead the development of offshore wind projects from inception to completion, including site selection, feasibility studies, permitting, contracting, and construction phases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project developers, engineers, environmental specialists, and legal professionals, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.

  • Conduct thorough market analysis and stay up-to-date on industry trends, identifying new opportunities for offshore wind development.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets and milestones are achieved.

  • Proactively identify and assess project risks, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project schedules and costs.

  • Oversee project milestones and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, financial performance, and any potential deviations or risks.

 


Requirements:


 


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore wind project development, including experience in site selection, permitting, and contracting.

  • In-depth knowledge of the offshore wind industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and technical aspects of wind farm development.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
