Job Description
**The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join two current senior faculty.**
The Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital is ranked among the country’s top children’s hospitals in three pediatric specialties by U.S. News and World Report and has a growing Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Program including a very active cardiac catheterization laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have formal training in pediatric cardiac anesthesiology, or have sufficient cardiac anesthesiology experience caring for neonates and older pediatric patients with congenital cardiac disease. The ability to work collegially in an environment that is multidisciplinary and stresses teamwork is critical. There will be extensive resident and fellow educational responsibility. This position may be limited solely to pediatric cardiac anesthesiology, or combined with general pediatric anesthesiology too.

**Position Qualifications:**
• Must be able to hold an active NY State Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology with Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia

• Compensation range from 525K to 625K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
