Job Description
Due to increased success within the offshore wind sector, we are now looking
for a offshore electrical engineering subject matter expert to join our fast
growing team.

The role will broadly be to provide subject matter expertise to our existing
team and help deliver electrical projects associated with the development of
offshore wind projects here in North America.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing electrical engineering related projects, such as POI
selection and analysis, power cables selection and assessment, offshore
and onshore electrical engineering design support
directly interfacing with and helping clients on behalf of Mott MacDonald,
lead and support overall project development strategy for our clients
supporting and coordinating commercial proposals (bids) as well as
supporting the offshore wind practice business and organic growth
leading and working closely with other Mott MacDonald business teams and units
assisting with professional excellence activities across subject areas

Candidate Specification
We welcome applications from experienced project directors with the following:
offshore wind experience is preferred:
experience working in the North American region, including with
developers, regulators and project stakeholders
intimate understanding and experience with ISONE, NYISO, PJM, CAISO,
understanding of offshore wind development drivers, challenges, available
solutions, etc.
good understanding of electrical engineering processes associated with the
development of offshore wind projects and ability to help our clients to
strategize accordingly
strong track record of ensuring program performance and delivery and customer
engagement / satisfaction
good leadership skills with the ability to work with and motivate staff in a
global setting
strong commercial focus with the ability to identify and manage risk
Salary Range: \$130K - \$190K
