Job Description:

The Program Coordinator supports the development and execution of a robust plan of programs relevant to Reilly Center research, civic engagement projects, and administration. This position reports to the Reilly Center director. This individual will also assist with special projects when assigned by the director. The Program Coordinator is an integral member of the Reilly Center team.

Schedule program work to meet deadlines and funding obligations; Oversee daily operations related to assigned programs; Coordinate the activities and set priorities for assigned programs; Manage student staff and volunteer assistance for assigned projects; Work with Manship School and other LSU faculty to enhance programming. 50%

Prepare professional contracts, university forms, and documentation; Arrange all travel and lodging for visitors associated with Reilly Center projects and the director; Manage donor, alumni and professional contact databases for the Reilly Center; Ensure program data is collected and stored in the appropriate database. 25%

Monitor and approve program expenditures; Prepare financial statements and maintain records pertaining to program activities; Research and manage purchasing for the Reilly Center and assigned programs. 10%
 

Assist with special projects aligned with the strategic direction of the Reilly Center and Manship School. 10%

Other duties as assigned. 5%

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's in political science, public policy, communications or a comparable/related field.

Years of experience: One year of experience.

Specific Experience: Experience with strategic communication practices.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's in political science, public policy, communications or a comparable/related field

Years of experience: Two years of full-time experience.

Specific Experience: Experience in event planning.
