AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a high-impact Purchasing Project Manager to join its Purchasing team in Duluth, GA, Hesston, KS, or Jackson, MN. Only 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Duluth is home to AGCO headquarters. The location allows easy access to the big city lifestyle that Atlanta provides. The headquarters have grown to now include over 500 employees. In this position, you will drive the highest level of service and quality to our dealership network.


The Purchasing Project Manager will be responsible for leading project execution of Purchasing Projects for defined Commodities across multiple sites and within cross-functional teams. Those projects include Design Change, Resourcing or Make/Buy. Maximize fiscal savings to be achieved as well as realization of resourcing projects as part of SBO strategy (Supply Base Optimization).


What you will do:


  • Drive execution of Purchasing Projects, this includes amongst others:  calculate business case and create CER, organize technical review, drive ECN process, and more.

  • Generate new cost reduction ideas or drive idea validation

  • Facilitate weekly meetings and updates records (APT)

  • Forecasting, KPI's and reports consolidation


What you will bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, or a related field

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a project manager, managing a team, driving change and/or equivalent position

  • Fluent in English


Travel Requirement:


  • Up to 25%
