Quality Engineer will be responsible of quality of products manufactured in AGCO Jackson facility. The ideal candidate will
have experience working in OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment and has strong problem solving skills. The person in this role
will need to be able to support a product life cycle from New Product Introduction to its performance in field tracking product
warranty and reliability.

Summary of Tasks

  • Provide day to day support for daily troubleshooting and
    root cause determination. Initiate problem solving process to resolve problems and involve appropriate departments.

  • Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators to ensure correlation. Manage engineering changes, working with
    cross-functional team to ensure timely execution.
  • Champion assigned Product Problem Resolution issues with cross
    functional teams to derive root cause and corrective action for factory and end users.
  • Participate in assembly quality
    board meetings and partner with Production Management to continually improve the quality of processes and products.

  • Work with Engineering and Suppliers to resolve issues that are not plant controllable. Recommend and validate rework procedures.
    Develop inspection procedures and best methods for performing inspection.
  • Perform data analysis to identify areas
    of improvements to reduce repair frequency and warranty cost.
  • Monitor product reliability over periods and identify
    areas of improvements based on trend and data analysis.
  • Develop inspection plan and process to ensure accuracy and
    completeness of quality requirements using inspection sheets and engineering documents.
  • Perform dealer visits as
    and when required and represent AGCO Quality in problem resolution teams.
  • Create and maintain Factory Change Orders
    as and when necessary.
  • Perform required audits by completing necessary inspection procedures, using the appropriate
    documentation and attesting to the quality of the product prior to shipment.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans
    as appropriate.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical or
    Electrical Engineering
  • Ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing environment
    working in OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross functional
  • Ability to independently lead and drive projects within the organization
  • Creative and strong problem
    solving abilities (5D, 6D, 7D, 8D) and result orientation
  • Strong background in quality tools such as PFMEA, Control
    Plan, SPC, MSA to ISO 9001:2015 standards
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven technical knowledge
    and ability to collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing and suppliers
  • High level of organizational and
    multitasking skills
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

  • Master of Science in Manufacturing
    or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Proven
    ability to manage multiple projects and tasks

Working Condition: Fairly light physical activity generally
associated with an office environment. Will be exposed to noise and dust while in the production and test areas thus requiring
the appropriate safety equipment such as safety glasses, ear plugs and other protective equipment as necessary.
