WHO YOU ARE
You drive sales growth for the division through the management of all interfaces with residential and commercial builders, builder’s designers, and architects, in the new construction market. You may have held positions in the past like
District Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager , Business Development Manager, Market Manager, or perhaps Account
Manager

WHERE YOU WILL WORK
You will be Road Warrior, travelling about 40% of the time across multiple US territories in the West.
Candidates residing in major cities in the West preferred, including Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix, Tucson, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles County California, Orange County California, San Diego, San Francisco and Sacramento.


WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • Coordinate all business efforts with single family and multi-family commercial builders, builder designers, and
    architects.

  • Manage, implement and promote the overall Building Division sales strategy and communicate with the appropriate sales personnel both internal and external as well as with the subcontractor base.

  • Work with VP of Sales, National Account Managers, Regional Managers & independent reps as well as our financial
    team to develop programs and agreements appropriate for maintaining and growing ClosetMaid' s market share

  • Works in conjunction with National & Regional sales personnel in order to provide supervision of external
    independent rep agents.

  • Maximize the growth and profitability of our overall business relationships.

  • Work with team on builder contracts

  • Responsible for the follow up of builder and architect leads from various events

  • Deliver effective presentations and demonstrations in order to show customer benefits


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Sales and/or marketing

  • Demonstrated success selling to builders/ architects/ designers

  • Ability to prioritize and organize

  • Capable of working with limited supervision

  • Superior leadership, competitive spirit and desire to win

  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities necessary

  • Contribute to effective team output through cooperation, participation and commitment to shared vision and goals

  • Engage effectively with local sales teams in order to manage customers

  • Experienced with CRM system

  • Microsoft Office-Excel-Intermediate, Word, Power Point, Outlook

  • 40% travel required
