Job Summary:
Reporting to the Precision Hydro Field Supervisor, the Rig Operator is responsible for the execution of the job, in both a safe and efficient manner. The role requires experience operating and troubleshooting all equipment and machinery with direction from the Field Supervisor at the job site, possibly in remote locations and requiring travel.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate and troubleshoot all job equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner;
Lift, remove and install production equipment, as required;
Work in conjunction with Field Supervisor to ensure job is completed on-time, on-budget and safely;
Inform Field Supervisor of any potential delay or safety issues;
Assist with rig transportation to job site, setting up, taking down and transportation to next assignment;
Responsible for maintaining jobsite, equipment, machinery and tools in an organized and clean condition;
Responsible for Rig Hand(s) and others allocated to job assignment;
Provide daily, detailed job information to Field Supervisor, including, but not limited to, photos, description of work completed and accurate employees’ timecard information;
Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, annual maintenance and inspections of equipment and machinery; communicates equipment and machinery required work orders to the Field Supervisor;
Responsible for practicing the company’s safety policies; immediately inform Field Supervisor of any jobsite injury and coordinate appropriate actions;
Use company-issued equipment solely for company business and follow procedures and policies regarding usage.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in well drilling/pump operations;
Experience managing and mentoring junior personnel;
Knowledge of relevant machinery and equipment operation;
Class B driver’s license with clean driving record;
Crane certified, a plus;
Welding experience, certified preferred;
CPR/First Aid certified;
Ability to use appropriate digital technology, as required;
Exceptional organizational, time management, attention to detail, multi-tasking and managerial skills;
Astute oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:
7:00AM – 4:30PM Monday through Friday, in addition to travel and out of town work, which includes an overnight work schedule, when necessary
Compensation:
$28.00 per hour DOE for this non-exempt, full-time position.
