Position Summary:         

The Sales Representative is responsible for sales support to all accounts in Massachusetts as designated by the Chief Marketing Officer. Primary responsibilities will be to build a strong sales pipeline of new accounts and upsell existing accounts. The successful candidate will drive sales, create critical wins, and provide oversight of pre / post-sales across cannabis dispensaries.

 

Responsibilities:             

  • Build positive business to business relationships with prospective and existing accounts across the state of Massachusetts
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers and key industry personnel
  • Contribute sales analytics to accurately reflect the department’s sales strategy
  • Create a pipeline of new accounts generating new sales revenue
  • Establish clear and targeted sales goals and monitor progress to goal on a regular basis.  Reporting these goals to target to departmental leadership
  • Work directly with Green Meadows Marketing team to develop short term and long-term goals to gain new and repeat business opportunities.  Assist with the execution of promotional efforts to influence purchasing habits
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the Wholesale team to ensure accounts receive exceptional service
  • Track customer retention, re-order rates and order value to determine strategy modifications
  • Keep well-informed of industry trends for return feedback to Marketing, Wholesale, and Cultivation to keep ahead of market changes
  • Ensure sales operations are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal workplace regulations
  • Participate in Green Meadow’s various programs and in new product development and implementation
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of Green Meadow’s and fully supports the company’s purpose, goal, and key objectives



 

 

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS      

 

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is preferred. Degrees in other disciplines are acceptable in conjunction with suitable experience and accomplishments.

 

 

Minimum Experience:

  • We are looking for a strong professional with a background in developing new business
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the cannabis industry in Sales

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong understanding of brand management in the cannabis industry
  • Knowledge the science of cannabis
  • Strong sense of urgency and business acumen
  • Exceptionally strong relationship building experience and developing new business
  • Strong attention to detail along with punctuality and impeccable communication skills
