Monroe Tractor is seeking an experienced, self-motivated professional in the heavy equipment industry. The rental representative will act as the department’s main customer experience expert who will be responsible for coordinating rentals of construction equipment. This position reports directly to the Westborough Sales Manager, with a dotted line reporting to the Rental Manager, based in Rochester NY. This position will be responsible for promoting and generating rental opportunities in the Eastern half of Massachusetts and the entire State of Rhode Island and is based out of our Westborough, MA location.





  • Customer Service oriented; good communication skills; closing skills, territory management; prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills; self-confidence and motivation; product knowledge and ability to maintain client relationships.

  • Tech savvy - Experience with Microsoft Office and basic CRM usage.

  • 2-5 years’ experience with rental equipment, preferably in the heavy equipment rental industry.

  • Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Strong verbal communication and sales skills to work with numerous customers daily.

  • Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to work closely with other departments.

  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 plus commission
