operate. We are Invenergy. Job Description Position Overview As Senior
Analyst, Vegetation Management, you will support Invenergy\'s vegetation
management program for utility-scale solar and wind projects throughout
the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States, from early
development stages through pre-construction vegetation planning and
construction implementation through the transition to long-term
operations and maintenance. This role will coordinate across internal
teams, including Development, Pre-Construction, Environmental Compliance
& Strategy, Project Management, and Asset Management, and support each
project in the development and implementation of its vegetation
management strategy. This will also require coordination with external
vegetation consultants, civil contractors, and regulatory agencies to
ensure successful implementation and compliance with the project\'s
strategy during development, construction, and operations.
Responsibilities \* Direct vegetation consultants to develop
project-specific vegetation and soil management plans (VSMP) that meet
the conditions of state and local regulations, contractor guidance
documents, and customer commitments. As part of this process, you will
identify regional consultants, create and send Request for Proposals,
select consultants, and oversee drafting and finalization of the VSMP.
\* Ensure VSMPs align with project-specific objectives, permit
requirements, contractual obligations, and budgets. \* Support project
team on implementing the VSMP during construction and provide staff
training on vegetation issues. \* Confirm the project has met its
vegetation objectives and complies with the conditions of permit
requirements and costumer commitments. \* Conduct site visits to
projects during construction and operational stages to evaluate the
performance of vegetation processes during appropriate growing windows.
\* Supports Manager, Vegetation Management on review of project
documents and plans, development of vegetation management improvements
and processes, and forward-thinking strategies that are relevant to
Invenergy\'s vegetation program. \* Assist in the development of
environmental construction standard processes used for technical
guidance and documentation purposes to assure project\'s vegetation
guidelines and objectives. \* Provide feedback and engagement with
industry groups relating to vegetation management, habitat enhancement,
and ecosystem services on utility-scale solar and wind projects. \*
Reviewing, editing technical reports Required Skills \* 2+ years in
utility-scale vegetation management operation or land management related
position \* Experience working on vegetation management during
construction, coordinating with construction contractors, and
collaborating with environmental consultants \* Background in
restoration ecology, land reclamation, botany, soil science, or related
field \* Strong communication, writing, and personal skills; ability to
work and build consensus across teams \* Analytical and
solutions-focused with the proven ability to take initiative and work
independently \* Working knowledge of the EPA\'s Integrated Vegetation
Management (IVM) principles and NRCS conservation practices \*
Experience working on general construction projects. \* Travel 20-25%
