Job Summary and Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to maintain and extend a backend system that supports a wide range of financial services, including equity and mutual fund trading, account management, document generation, portfolio rebalancing, and fulfilling API requests to a web interface. You’ll be joining an experienced and highly motivated team of experts in the field to develop major additions to an already large and mature codebase. Expertise in areas of the RIA custodian business may compensate for a lack of technical skills for the right candidate. This position is on-site at our office in Centennial, CO. 


  • Provides support to customers, field and product support personnel in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving product-related issues
  • Provides guidance on product features, and configuration and implementation options
  • Gathers information and reports on design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs
  • Evaluates and reports on the technical abilities of field support staff
  • Communicate with product and QA teams effectively to translate business requirements into technical requirements and to create comprehensive testing plans


  • 5+ years' experience in multiple languages and operating systems
  • Have very strong multi-language knowledge if not particular knowledge in (Universe) Basic
  • Interested in being in a leadership role
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of best practices in the software engineering field
  • Comfortable working with low level tools in a Linux/UNIX environment
