Job Description
Location on-site: Open to any Vestas site across the North East region (US or Canada)





 





General Purpose:





Individual contributor who technically plans work orders so that stakeholders have all required elements to plan and perform work in the field. This role works in collaboration with internal organizations to remove roadblocks to effective, consistent, replacement execution. Will also identify and implement process improvements.





 





Responsibilities:





\- Create work orders from system or manually





\- Consider customer specifics in technical planning (including customer entitlement)





\- Triggering technical Support for complex jobs





\- Upstream support role involved for quotation creation





\- Task list improvement opportunities identified and aligned with Technical Support (who triggers task list creation & updates)





\- Quality verification based on inputs provided by Field Technician.





\- Identify CIM opportunities and link work order (if applicable)





\- Checking if material consumption is correct according to the planned components and in comparison, to work performed description.





 





Essential Functions:





\- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) including Salesforce, SAP & internet navigation





\- Ability to work flexible hours, coordinating with various time zones





\- Ability to communicate effectively in English.





\- Ability to organize database and planning systems.





 





Education, Training, and Skills Required:





\- Bachelors degreed highly preferred in relevant field (ie. Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics)





\- 2+ years related experience within the wind industry





\- Project management





\- Coordinate work remotely





\- Establish safe standards of execution





\- Balance complex priorities





\- Good experience in a technical service environment with focus on planning & execution





\- Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases and planning tools





\- Investigative and detailed working approach





\- Self-organization and good time management





\- Professional communication skills (including technical communication)





\- Good facilitation and presentation skills on Management level





\- Good understanding of entitlement / commercial customer specifics





\- Ready to read into technical documentations and drawings





\- Affinity to work according to processes and navigate in technical (commercial) related systems
