Imagine yourself as a crucial link between our valued customers and the clean energy services we provide. As a Customer Service Specialist at Geoscape Solar, your role is essential to ensure systems perform at their best and our customers feel valued and informed.
What You'll Do:
Your tasks revolve around monitoring solar systems, handling customer queries, and coordinating field service operations. Among your key responsibilities, you'll:
- Ensure customer systems are registered for SREC trading, enter them into monitoring portals, and keep track of their production forecasts.
- Regularly review system performance and address any concerns, including field service coordination if issues can't be resolved remotely.
- Master the art of communication: you'll update customers about their system status and handle inbound calls and emails professionally and promptly.
- Prepare service contract quotes, process service agreements, and coordinate with our Accounting department when necessary.
- Be a documentalist: keep records of all case activities in our CRM, and contribute to our operations manual by documenting policies and procedures.

- Extensive knowledge of customer service procedures and principles.
- Superb supervisory skills, able to coach and mentor our customer service representatives.
- Sharp attention to detail, organizational prowess, and a knack for effective follow-up.
- Ability to handle challenging customer scenarios, maintaining a professional demeanor.

Due to the nature of the Service Specialist's responsibilities, applicant should live within a reasonable commute to our Mount Laurel HQ since this is an in-office position. Hybrid, work-from-home flexibility will be considered after the Initial Evaluation Period, based on proven track record.
Education Requirement:
Experience Requirement: Two (2) year minimum solar service experience, required
Compensation: $65,000 annual base salary
