Snow Creek Landscaping has a fleet of small engine equipment, and gas and diesel engine trucks, and needs a hardworking person for preventative maintenance and repairs.  

We are looking for someone with strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks while communicating with our crews and leadership. This is a permanent, full-time position with an established local company.  

We have a 50+ fleet of trucks plus a variety of construction equipment with a fully operational garage.  The position is an hourly position, Monday – Friday; 7 am – 4 pm; some flexibility with schedule with overtime, if needed.  

Compensation: $38,000 - $44,000/year, dependent on experience.

Duties include but not limited to:  

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements  

• Inspect all machinery, engines, small equipment, etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues - record repairs within our software and keep a strict schedule.  

• Complete repairs aiming for maximum reliability.  

• Assess and propose recommendations  

• Communicate effectively with individuals on proper safety and use of equipment  

• As needed projects upon accident or failure  

Required:  

• Experienced and proven truck/automotive and small engine mechanic  

• Proven experience as Mechanic with Small engine and fleet management.  

• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.  

• Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (i.e., calipers).  

• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, schematics etc.  

• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.  

• Strong ability to communicate with all levels of employees within the company.  

• Excellent problem-solving ability  

• Ability to manage multiple projects within a set period and/or deadline(s)  

• Strong record keeping and compliance methods   

• Ability to follow direction and communicate concerns timely  

• Active Driver’s License
